Dear all!
I´m having problems with workup after protecting a novel amino acid by
using Fmoc-OSu in water/DME with NaHCO3 as base. I get a byproduct with
"9-fluorenyl" signals on NMR, and the only way to get rid of it is by
flash-chromatography (time consuming...) Extracting the basic rx mix
with ether gives my protected aa in the ether phase with the byproduct.
Anyone had this problem, and worked out a better solution than mine?
