Fusion proteins - How's it done?

Hi Anyone who knows,

Can somone tell me how fusion gene constructs are made i.e. say I wanted to
link a gene to GST or GFP tags(suppose I've got cDNA all for these). How do
I glue the two strands of DNA together before I can express it to produce a
single fusion protein.
