We would like to focus your attention on the instrument M.I.E.R.
(Multicompartment Immobilized Enzyme Reactor). It is an isoelectrically
trapped
enzyme reactor that integrates catalytic conversion, product separation,
product concentration and catalyst recovery into a single operation.

THE INSTRUMENT IS DESIGNED FOR :
(i) the purification of biomolecules obtainable from a catalytic
bioconversion process
(ii) designing and testing enzymatic, kinetic assays for high-throughput
screening protein purification
(iii) protein primary structure determination
(iv) understanding specific metabolic functions of protein isoforms

REALIZED APPLICATIONS:
(i) Bioconversion of charged penicillin G by penicillin G acylase
(ii) Histidine decarboxylase reactor
(iii) Production of pure D-phenylglycine by penicillin G acylase
(iv) Thrombin reactor
(v) Trypsin reactor
(vi) Urease reactor
(vii) Purification of chicken liver basic FABS (fatty acid binding protein)

"Ad hoc" services can be offered to clients interested in the purification
of biomolecules obtainable from a catalytic bioconversion process.

Details on the instrument can be obtained by e-mail (info at montegen.com) and
visiting the web site of the company Montegen at the address:
