POSTDOCTORAL POSITION available to study spontaneous protein folding and
the folding process as assisted by chemical and biological molecular
chaperones.
Additional investigations include methods for the recovery of
recombinant
proteins from inclusion bodies. Experimental approaches include steady
state
and lifetime fluorescence, ultracentrifugation, site-directed
mutagenesis,
high pressure methods, light scattering, structure-function
relationships,
and other relevant biophysical methods. Applicant must have U.S.
