There is a procedure , which have worked well in our hands, described by :
Cremer F., van de Walle C. in Anal Biochem . 147 : 22-26, 1985.
As polyphenols and other oxidable pigments are a nuisance we use thiourea
to reduce the extent of oxidation. Have a look at :
