I want to extract Pathogenesis-related proteins. In theory
these are small proteins (17-36 kDa) are expressed after
stress induction (by virus, fungi ). they control the
spread of the pathogen. I am working with two coffee
cultivar and I want to know if the amount of proteins
present in both cultivars is the same. what I did before
was an extraction using sodium acetate 20mM and recover the
supernatan after two centrifugation the first of 15 min at
1500g and the second for 30 min at 17,000 g Using the super
natan I run a SDS-polyacrylamide Gel.I also performed a
Bradford but I am wory that the results are wrong because
my supernatan is pigmented with an ambar color.
I would appreciate any help
