I guess your protein has been cloned and expressed prior to
that purification.
I also used the His-Tag system to purify a cabbage methyl
transferase which has been cloned and expressed in E. coli.
But I could not detect any traces enzyme activity. I was
wondering what can be done to detect or to restore activity
(although bearing in mind that there could be a lack of
post-translational modification of the recombinant protein)?
