Finding Repeat Patterns in Proteins

If you use DOTPLOT which is available in the GCG package,
you can do a self-plot of the protein, using a 20 amino
acid window setting (or whatever).  If there are repeats
then you should see a one or more band in addition to the
main band which is plotted along the middle of the plot.
