You can get pH 7.4 McIlvaine buffer by mixing 9.15 ml 0.1 M citric acid with
90.85 ml 0.2 M Na2HPO4. The principles and preparation of various buffers
can be found in Methods in Enzymology Vol 182. Details on McIlvaine buffer
is in J. Biol. Chem. 49:183 (1921).

What is the composition of the McIlvaine buffer with pH 7.4?

I know that you must mix 0.1 molar citric acid and 0.2 molar disodium
phosphate but I don't know the exact amounts to get a pH 7.4 solution.

thanks
