PROTEIN EXPRESSION: From Discovery to Development
January 12-13, 1998 San Diego, California
The explosion of genomic information has focused attention
on issues related to the translation of sequence information
into proteins. Efforts to obtain correctly spliced sequences,
including various possible regulatory elements, selection of
a cell line for initial expression, and solutions for
expression ofproblematic proteins present a range of challenges.
New approaches for insuring expression of properly folded,
fully functional proteins will also be explored.
