DEPARTMENT OF PLANT BIOLOGY

A position is available for a post-doctoral scientist to join our group 
studying the biogenesis of vacuoles and vesicular trafficking in the secretory 
pathway of plant cells. The successfull candidate will take a leading role in 
ongoing in situ hybridization of several mRNAs encoding membrane proteins by 
using light and electron microscopy. He (she) will also be expected to 
contribute to other aspects of molecular cytology in the research programme. 
Experience in applying molecular biology techniques to cell biology studies is 
essential.

The post is available from january 1998 for a period of 12 months. Salary will 
be in the range 120 000 FF (20,000 US dollars) per year.
