Can anyone tell me if IPTG is an acceptable to the FDA as an inducer for a rec DNA derived therapeutic protein. Are there any toxicological concerns, limits on residuals, tests for residuals. I would be grateful for any information or experience on its use in pharmaceutical products. Jim Ackland
