Clontech supplies the original BacPAK6 virus as well as the kit. The BacPAK6 virus can be used to make linear viral DNA (100ml of infected Sf9 cell supernatant makes approx 500 microg. of viral DNA - enough to last ages!) and therefore ther is no limiting reagent. Raj
