I am wondering if anybody has any ideas on what is the best approach
to identify the targets of a Heat shock protein. I plan to add my Heat
shock protein to a heat disrupted extract. Because of the transient
nature of the interaction, I plan to add a reversible cross linker to
cross-link target proteins to the HSP. Does anybody have any
experience of such a strategy? I am told that X-linking is a very
"messy" method. Is this true? Anybody that I has spoken to me about
there experiences of X-linking has sad they were BAD !! Is this true?
