Does anybody have experience with Eosin Y - staining of proteins?
I followed a protocol I found in Anal. Biochem., 196, 279-283 (1991).
The Eosin solution precipitates after adding to the gel (is this OK?)
and the destaining procedure does not work out. I used Eosin Y sodium
salt (85% dye content) from Sigma.
