Aside from ordering small peptides, or peptide fragments, at random (i.e.,
Sigma), does anyone know of a company that puts out a kit of standards for
very small peptides (i.e., 5-15 amino acids) for gel filtration? We're
looking for something around 700 Da via gel filtration. There are a host of
small peptides sold by Sigma, but they're mostly in the $100 range for ug
quantities. I would think a set of synthetic peptides would be fairly
inexpensive in this size range.
