IUBio

Ubiquitin helix/loop

I am intersted in ubiquitin, specifically the AA region 57-67 which is a
very short helix and often referred to as a loop. I have done some
reading and only managed to ascertain that it is a highly flexible
region. Can anyone point me towards a reference which can shed some
light on the function or role of this region (maybe a site directed
mutagenesis paper)?

Thanks in advance,
