Hello,
I intend to raise polyclonals against a small molecule that I
can conjugate to BSA. The small molecule forms a Schiff base with lysine
residues of BSA. Will the Schiff base be stable for raising antibodies.

I could presumably stabilize the linkage by reduction with borohydride,
but may end up with toxic boron end-products. Does anyonoe have experience
with this situation?
