Have you tried loading a pronase (0.5 mg/ml in buffer at pH7.5) solution and
letting the column sit in that for 24-48 h at 37 C then flush with buffer
(+/-SDS?)? This worked for me (-SDS) with reverse phase HPLC columns that
were clogged with clam proteins. Column resolution was restored. Note: when
doing this run the column backwards as suggested by another responder.
