Lectureship in Pharmacology
Applications are invited for a non-clinical Lectureship in Pharmacology,
tenable from 1st January 1995. The position, which will be made on a
fixed-term basis for a period of three years, arises from the appointment
of
a member of staff, Dr. Kieran Breen, to a Research Leave Fellowship.
The candidate will join a Department with a strong interest in Neuroscience
and will be expected to undertake an vigorous independent programme of
research and applicants with experience in the field of molecular biology
are particularly invited to apply. The successful candidate will be
encouraged to interact with a dynamic research group headed by Dr. Breen
which has a particular interest in the area of molecular neurobiology. The
appointee will also be expected to undertake general teaching duties for
students of science and pre-clinical medical students. Salary will be
commensurate with experience and will be on the lecturer A scale
(£14,756-£19,326).
