For viewing protein structures with a mac, try the program called "mage".
 It is used to view "kinemages" which are constructed from PDB
coordinates.  It is awesome.  You can use to "Prekin" program to make
kinemages yourself.  And it's available free!  Just look for it with
gopher or mosaic or netscape or whatever!
