I would like to get some info about NTCB (nitrothiocyanobenzoic acid) for
cleaving proteins in front of a cysteine residue. Does the cleavage occur
specifically in front of a cysteine residue, or does it also cleave in
front of cysteines involved in disulfide bridges? Are there protocols and
references for NTCB available? Any information is greatly appreciated.
