[Plant-biology] Assistant professor in Plant Pathology at U of Maryland College Park

The Department of Plant Science & Landscape Architecture, College of Agriculture & Natural Resources, University of Maryland College Park (https://www.psla.umd.edu<https://www.psla.umd.edu/>) invites applications for a 9 month, tenure-track faculty position (60% research, 25% teaching, 15% extension) at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Plant Pathology. Candidates with strong backgrounds in mechanistic studies of disease resistance of major crops and/or fungal pathogenicity are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop a research program that integrates molecular genetics / genomics with field-oriented plant pathology to help solve problems and generate knowledge of practical significance to the agricultural industry and academia.
