Postdoctoral Research Position: Ion channel molecular biology
Dept of Plant Sciences, University of Cambridge, UK
A three year postdoctoral position is now available to join a team working
to characterise unusual ion channels identified in the Arabidopsis genome.
You will join at least two other research fellows, a postdoc and a couple
of PhD students who are working on (or close to) this project in
Cambridge; and will also integrate with work in other labs in France and
Germany, particularly with Drs Muller-Rober, Sentenac and Barbier-Brygoo.
The project is funded by an EU-FPV grant. Work will involve travel between
the labs in various countries.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. and experience in molecular biology and
heterologous expression. Salary will be on the age-dependent research
associate scale. Only EU nationals can be appointed, and must not have
been resident in the UK for the past two years. The position should start
before the end of this year, and could begin as early as 1 August.
