A Question on Bananna Trees - Help

Both plants require an inordinate amount of nitrogen in order to thrive.  It
sounds as though your plants have exhausted the amount native to the soil
and needs replenishment with fish emulsion fertilizer or straight nitrogen
fertilizer.  Manure is a good source.
