Blooming African Violets

Two different violets grown under the same conditions should perform the
same.  The non-bloomer probably needs more light  than the other to set
buds.  Most of the new hybrids are very floriferous, if you don't have a
sentimental attachment to it I would get a more modern variety to grow.
Most all the Optimaras do extremely well under east exposures.  Try your
bloomer in a west window or south (with protection from hot sun via
sheers).  Hope this helps.
