Black Jack Oak

Does anyone out there know something about the chemical composition of the sap 
of a Black Jack Oak (Quercus merilandica)?  We are particularily interested 
in any information dealing with the possible poisonous effects of the sap, 
acorns, saplings, etc., and what specific chemical compounds might be involved.
