Spider plant propagation

If you are trying to get your spider plant to propogate, snip off a few of
the "babies" that are on strings from the plant and stick tham in some
soil.  Unfortunately, flowering has nothing to do with it.  Otherwise,
take your plant from the pot and separate the roots and by summer you will
have another plant.  Plants become potbound in a few months and can be
separated then.  Spider plants are easy to raise and you will soon have
more to give to friends!
