A position is available to manage plant production in greenhouses
and environmental chambers of the Crop Biotechnology Center at Texas
A&M University. The successful candidate will schedule and manage
use of multiple plant growth facilities to produce transgenic and
other research plants. Included in the responsibilities are to
provide support services, such as watering and insect control,
maintain security of transgenic plants and coordinate with the
Facility Engineer in delivery of required growing conditions.
The successful candidate will support faculty members using the
facility and report to the chair of the faculty committee.
Minimum qualifications for the position include a BS in Plant
Science or a related field and at least two years practical
experience. The position is budgeted at $24,000 per year and
includes a full University benefits package and the opportunity to
