Faculty Position in Plant Biology
The MSU-DOE Plant Research Laboratory has a tenure-track faculty
position available at the Assistant Professor level. Applications
are being sought from researchers who will be working toward the
mechanistic understanding of fundamental questions in plant biology
using modern experimental approaches of biochemistry, genetics, or
cell and molecular biology.
The Plant Research Laboratory is operated with support from the
U.S. Department of Energy and provides a stimulating atmosphere and
excellent facilities for research in the plant sciences. Faculty
members are jointly appointed in an appropriate academic
department. Generous laboratory space and set-up support as well
as continuing research funding will be provided.
Applicants should have postdoctoral research experience with
demonstrated productivity and evidence of potential for independent
research. In order to assure consideration, applications should be
