Yesterday in a review session a student made the following comment
(question, looking for confirmation):
"So when we're looking at green plants out in nature, what we're really
seeing is their thylakoid membranes?"
Yes, nice observation, which gives us an interesting variation on not
seeing the forest for the trees.
