Use a gas chromatograph with a Haysep QS-column, down to 0.1 ppm.
Accumulate the gas by placing your fruit in an airtight flask, then
take samples every hour or so. A better method is photoacoustic
spectroscopy, but this is a custom-build technique and not commercially
