Hi
Does anybody know whether it is possible to reconstruct diploid genotypes
from linked SNP markers? I am doing population genetic analyses and I have
SNP data for four nucleotides within the same gene (so presumably highly
linked) but would like to know if it is possible to know which of two
alleles at site 1 (say) is on the same molecule as one of two alleles at
site 2 etc.
Since I am doing population genetics, I have no data on pedigrees, just
unrelated (or relations unknown) individuals.
Thanks in advance,
Senanu Pearson
