CALL FOR PAPERS

The International Conference on Software Engineering, Artificial
Intelligence, Networking and Parallel/Distributed Computing (SNPD '02)
brings together scientists, engineers, computer users, and students to
exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results
about all aspects (theory, applications and tools) of Engineering,
Artificial Intelligence, Networking and Parallel/Distributed Computing
computer, and discuss the practical challenges encountered and the
solutions adopted. The conference will cover a broad set of research
topics as:

- Component-Based Software Engineering Track 
- Software Engineering and Information Engineering Track 
- Internet Technology and Applications Track 
- Mobile/Wireless Computing Track 
- Communication Systems & Networks Track 
- Parallel and Distributed Computing Track 
- Visual and Multimedia Computing Track 
- Data Mining, Knowledge Discovery, Artificial Intelligence 
- Economic and Financial Systems Track 
- Control Systems Track 
- Image, Acoustic, Speech and Signal Processing Track 
- Information Management Systems and Management Information Systems
Track 
- Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithms Track 
- Software Engineering and Information Technology Education and Training
Track

PAPER SUBMISSION

We solicit research and experience papers as well as
research-in-progress and practitioner reports in any of the technical
areas listed above. Please include a cover page (1st page) containing
paper title, authors (indicate primary contact person), address,
affiliation, e-mail address, phone number, fax number, topic area of
your paper. The 2nd page starts off with paper title, abstract, keywords
(5-7), and text. The program committee will review each submission and
judge it with respect to its originality, significance, and relevance.
Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.
Submissions, refereeing, and all correspondence will be conducted by
e-mail. Send your full paper (not to exceed 15 double-spaced pages) via
e-mail as an attachment document (not part of your e-mail) either in
Word, postscript, or PDF format. Send your full papers to either of the
Program Co-Chairs. 
Note: All presented papers will be reviewed for journal submission. At
the end of the conference, session chairs and program committee members
will recommend some authors of well presented papers to be invited to
submit extended versions of their presented papers for publication in a
special issue on " Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence,
Networking and Parallel/Distributed Computing of the International
Journal of Computer and Information Science. Prof. Moreno will be the
Guest Editor of this special issue. 

TUTORIALS / WORKSHOPS / PANELS

Send your proposal (3-4 pages) to any of the Tutorials Chairs via e-mail
by February 15, 2002. It should include a description of the tutorial
and an outline of the material to be presented, and the qualifications
of the presenter. A tutorial is usually 3 hours long.
