Thank you very much for your prompt answer to my memo posted on the
linkage news group. I could not hope for a better person to respond.
Your reply revealed that I was not using Sib-pair properly. I now
get a splitted triplet file plus sex but I did not succeed in having
Sib-pair put the markers in the "new.ped" file. Can I get Sib-pair to put
markers in the "new.ped" file? I tried some data declaration commands
including "set locus marker1 marker" without any success.
