Conference on Scientific and Statistical Database Management,
to be held on the beautiful island of Capri/Italy, July 1-3, 1998.
The SSDBM 98 program committee is proud to announce an
outstanding program of refereed contributions selected from
a record number of submissions. Topical highlights include
the confrontation of statistical database research with models
and tools from the data warehousing community, but also exciting
new developments in the scientific database area. The technical
talks are complemented by invited presentations by internationally
renowned representatives of the field, a panel discussion, and a
lively poster and demonstration session. Ample time is left for
informal discussions in the stimulating atmosphere of an island
that already helped Roman emperors to outstanding performance.
Since July is high season on Capri, it is EXTREMELY
IMPORTANT that you register for the conference as
soon as possible. In particular, hotel rooms cannot
