I am looking for polymorphic markers in some region of a human genome.
I found many repeats (di- tri-, tetra- and penta-nucleotide repeats) in
the sequence.
QUESTION: --> Is there any way to say looking at these repeat sequences
if some of them are better candidates then the others to be polimorphic
markers?
Is only a repeat length determining if repeat is polymorphic?
Does the sequence of the repeat matter?
Thanks for help!
