Wowa... I think this is a post just asking for flames....

TO answer your question there is a theory that homosexuality in absence of
any feminization or sex chromosomal anomalies, it is thought to arise via delivery of
testosterone at an inappropriate time to the fetus... this may be caused by an inherited
trait(s) present in the mother or environmental factors. This is a theory only.... and it
is not clear that homosexuality is not "natural" occurrence in animal populations. So whether
you feel it is a "difect" (sic) or not it has no bearing on those who are homosexual... they are
people just like you or me. They have rights and freedoms. It is no less a crime to ostracise
some one for there skin or eye color than for there sexual orientation. I have green eyes and
a know people who have brown eyes and blue; and I know people who are gay and those
that are straight. It is just the way they are and there function and contributions to society are
just as important. If you want to generalize... as a population gay men and women are more educated
and affluent than straight people on average. So perhaps being gay has advantages... certainly
will strengthen your character if you have to deal with people calling you "fag" or "queer" or worse
every day.
