Two-point analyses

When doing two point analyses: affection status vs. locus, I would like to
know what is the better indication that a given locus is closer to the
disease locus.

I have the following scenario:
Marker A is linked to the disease locus with a maximum
lodscore at a certain recombination fraction, but marker B presents
with a higher lodscore (than the maximum I got for marker B), however its
lodscore maximum occurs at higher recombination fraction.

Any easy way to test which of the two markers would be closer to my disease
locus, short of doing multipoint analyses?

Thanks to all who pointed me in the right direction to enable me to use Mlink
with more than 5 alleles. Recompiling was a piece of cake!

Thanks very much,
