I was wondering if anyone has come across any companies that sell kits
that can be sent out to people with buccal brushes for sample
collection, or perhaps a creative solution. I tried Integrated Genetics,
but they do not apparently sell kits. We currently are dabbling with
some cytology brushes that are typically used for pap smears. The major
downfall is the lack of a container to put the brush into and send back
to us to extract the DNA, and the fact that the packages say pap smear
on them, which may diminish some people's enthusiasm for sticking the
brush into their mouth.
