This is the same question that I posted to the chromsomes newsgroup, sorry if
anyone subscribe to both groups by mails.
My question was derived from the fact that human female genome linkage maps
seem to be larger than male maps. What is the possible explanation for that?
Any suggestions or correction to my misconception?
