bionet.molbio.gene-linkage is another newsgroup that started with
great support and has essentially fizzled. As I have done recently on
the ageing newsgroup, this is a "use it or lose it" notice. The
traffic on this newsgroup has not lived up to expectations and at its
current level the newsgroup does not warrant continued maintenance. I
have actually seen more discussion of genetic linkage software on
bionet.software than in this forum. The discussion leaders need to
get some activity going if they want to keep this forum.
