This is a unique chance for a recently qualified PhD or postdoc to apply your experience of insect molecular genetics to propose, design and execute experiments to discover novel insecticides. From generating hypotheses and testing your theories to presenting your results and collaborating with other disciplines, you'll be backed by leading-edge technology and enjoy considerable autonomy and opportunity for growth.
We're looking for an applied science/research background, the desire to innovate and the confidence to challenge the invention process. Comprehensive knowledge of Drosophila molecular genetics is essential and experience of conducting genetic screens would be advantageous.
