One post-doctoral position is available to perform comparative
studies in yeasts, worms and flies on how the general controls of
gene expression and genome maintenance are governed. In all three
groups of organisms, yeasts, worms and flies, these tasks are managed
by a combination of protein-coding and non-protein-coding genes.
Successful candidates are expected to apply both bioinformatic as
well as wet-lab approaches. The project is a joint venture between
three research groups at Karolinska institutet and Södertörns
Högskola, Stockholm, Sweden.
