A Drosophila geneticist position is available at the RIKEN Brain Science
Institute (Wako-shi, Saitama) is recruiting. The applicant may be at MSc or
PhD level and should have experience in Drosophila genetics research. The
successful candidate will also run or support a single research project
depending on experience (approx 70% time).The position also entails
assisting in genetic crosses and screening, care of lab Drosophila stocks
and other related duties (approx 30% time).
Our laboratory studies neuron development and function, and carries out
modeling of human neurological diseases in Drosophila. Please see our

is English and reasonable English language skills are required.
