Postdoctoral Positions Available
Northwestern University

The Allada laboratory is seeking energetic and highly motivated
individuals for postdoctoral positions. These positions are
available immediately and are funded from NIH and private foundation
grants. Appointments are for one year and renewable on the basis of
good performance.

Our research is focused on the circadian regulation of sleep behavior
using the fruit fly Drosophila and incorporates a variety of
approaches including biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, cell
culture, electrophysiology, anatomy, and behavior (see Lin et al,
Nature, 2002, Zhao et al., Cell, 2003, Lear et al., Neuron, 2005a,b).

Previous experience with molecular biology, electrophysiology,
immunofluorescence and/or Drosophila is highly preferred but not
essential. Interested individuals should send a brief statement of
research interests, CV and the names and contacts for three
references by e-mail to r-allada at northwestern.edu or mail to: Ravi
