In October, we found a new species of drosophlid (Zaprionus indianus) in
Tallahassee, Florida. The species invaded Brazil in the 1990's and we
are pretty sure we are catching the northbound invasion in the act. This
species has been reported as a pest on peach and citrus in Brazil.
