Research Specialist
Cell and Molecular Biology
Department of Biology

			Individuals with a BS/BA degree in biology,
biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, microbiology, or molecular biology,
with experience using basic molecular biology techniques, are encouraged to
apply.  Experience in the laboratory setting, familiarity with DNA isolation
and manipulation, restriction enzymes, and subcloning techniques, growth and
maintenance of bacterial cultures, and a working knowledge of molecular
databases and web-based editing/searching software are required.  Candidates
must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to
work well in a team. 
			Full time 12-month position.
