One or more postdoctoral positions are available for research into the
control of growth or neural cell fate specification by extracellular
signals. Our approach uses Drosophila melanogaster to identify and
characterize novel genes (http://fruitfly4.aecom.yu.edu/index.html).
Successful candidates will have research interests in developmental
signalling pathways in the nervous system, or in the developmental
control of cell proliferation and cell death. The Albert Einstein
College of Medicine is located in a residential suburb of New York City
