A postdoctoral research position is available for an energetic and motivated
scientist in Paul Adler's lab at the University of Virginia. The laboratory
studies the frizzled pathway and planar polarity in the Drosophila wing and
the cellular morphogenesis of polarized cell extensions (e.g. epidermal
hairs, arista laterals and bristles). Experience in molecular biology
required. Experience in genetics, confocal microscopy, cell biology and
developmental biology useful. A list of recent papers can be found on the
lab web site (www.people.virginia.edu/~pna).
